Marble

In geology, marble is a compact metamorphic rock formed from limestone rocks that, when subjected to high temperatures and pressures, reach a high degree of crystallization. The basic component of marble is calcium carbonate, the content of which exceeds 90%; the other components are those that give great variety of colors to marbles and define their physical characteristics. After an abrasion polishing process, marble reaches a high level of natural shine, that is, without waxes or chemical components.

Granite

Granite is a light-colored intrusive igneous rock of felsic composition consisting essentially of quartz, alkaline feldspar, plagioclase and mica.

Quartzite

Quartzite or metaquartzite is a hard metamorphic rock with a high quartz content. In composition, most quartzites are more than 90% quartz and some even 99%.

Porcelain

Porcelain stoneware is a material composed of clay and other selected minerals such as kaolin and feldspar. During the manufacturing process, the raw materials are processed and then pressed, glazed and finally fired at high temperatures on production lines. The benefits obtained during this process are innumerable: a material resistant to knocks and scratches, highly effective against stains and, above all, with excellent resistance to abrasion, which makes it very resistant to wear.

Synthetic marble

Synthetic marble is an artificial material made from resins and marble particles. It is water-resistant and does not require sealing, making it easier to maintain. Being artificial, there are some suitable and unsuitable for outdoor use, as well as for use in kitchen or worktops, depending, in this case, on whether it incorporates quartz or not.
